Barcelos Explains It All Ep. 2: Quidditch, Gender, and Three Words We Couldn’t Say

Ra Hopkins, the first nonbinary head referee to officiate a USQ final, joins Elizabeth Barcelos for the second episode of her podcast series to take on the subject of a thousand quidditch flame wars: gender. With over a decade of quidditch experience between them, Barcelos and Hopkins reflect on how women and nonmale participants are treated as players, officials, and volunteers and how men in the community can be better allies and advocates.
