What’s Next? Ep. 12: Quidditch Conferences and Community Growth with Emily Hickmott

After a short break, What’s Next is back! This week, MLQ Events Director and Texas Hill Country Heat chaser Emily Hickmott joins Jackie Ross to discuss quidditch conferences and what they can do for the community.

Described as a better version of Ethan, Emily started her quidditch career in 2012 at Tufts University. She quickly joined the leadership team at school, and has held numerous positions over the years, including Tufts Fundraising Coordinator, USQ Gameplay Coordinator, Massachusetts Quidditch Conference Commissioner, and more.

In addition to her numerous leadership responsibilities, Emily’s played for Tufts University, QC Boston, Lone Star, Texas Hill Country Heat, the Boston Night Riders, and the Austin Outlaws. She also has a beautiful cat Sonny.
